A Day in the Life
- Quality Improvement Projects across the sites:
- Lead and execute improvement projects related to manufacturing quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for enhancement.
- Drive strategic initiatives aimed at elevating product quality and compliance.
- Core Competency Development in Quality organization:
- Establish and strengthen the Quality Engineering (QE) core competency within the organization.
- Knowledge Transfer and Teaching:
- Effectively transfer quality concepts and best practices to team members.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers in quality methodologies.
- Expertise in Process Validation, Process Monitoring / Statistical Process Control (SPC),Test Method Validation (TMV, Risk Management. Data analysis and Critical Thinking
- System Understanding:
- Gain a deep understanding of how the system supports various processes within the organization.
- Leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- Decision-Making Authority:
- Make informed decisions related to quality processes and improvements.
- Serve as a consultant for critical quality-related choices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously improve existing processes and systems.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance quality outcomes.
- Technical Mastery:
- Stay abreast of global quality excellence programs, industry trends, regulations, and advancements.
- Be a technical expert in quality engineering practices.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Process Analyst or equivalent would be an advantage
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be a plus
- Significant experience in quality engineering, preferably in the medical device industry
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
