MUST HAVE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
EDUCATION REQUIRED
• Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field from an accredited college or university with 2 - 4 years related experience; or, BA degree in Paralegal Studies or related field 2 years of related experience; or, Paralegal certificate from ABA approved university and a minimum of 6 - 9 years related experience.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
• 2 - 4 years related experience with an Associates; or,
• 2 years of related experience with BA degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; or,
• 6 - 9 years related experience Paralegal certificate from ABA approved university
NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
• Knowledge of intellectual property legal practice area.
• Proficient PC application skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access).
• Strong working knowledge of LEXIS, Westlaw and other computer research databases.
• Good working knowledge and familiarity with all USPTO rules.
• Working knowledge of teleconferencing options and equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adhering to specified deadlines.
• Superior attention to detail and capability to focus on completing tasks and assignments.
• Strong word processing skills.
• Capability to generate a large volume of work and pay strict attention to detail.
• Strong spelling, punctuation and grammar skills
