Principal Packaging Engineer
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Experience:
- Engineering experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or related industry. Demonstrated experience managing cross functional global projects and/or teams.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and Project Management skills.
- Experience managing/supervising others is preferred.
- Six Sigma tools and Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred.
Skills/Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Project, Visio and Word.
- Working familiarity with SAP, AutoCAD, Minitab, Visual Basic, Tops or equivalent.
Other Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid organization and planning skills, facilitation and leading teams.
- Ability to work with a diverse cross-cultural environment
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
- Close working relationships with project leaders, functional groups department heads and global personnel.
- Close working relationship with suppliers.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Remote
- Clean room manufacturing area and model shop.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to work near moving mechanical parts.
