Must Have: Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Nice to have:

  • Strong sketching and visual communication (Illustrator, PowerPoint) for design ideation and persuasive/explanatory use (e.g., helping systems engineers understand or illustrate an architectural concept)
  • Parametric CAD experience including surfacing, in at least SolidWorks or Inventor
  • Render management workflow experience (e.g. Keyshot) and marketing-quality output
  • Cogent, concise written communication
  • 2+ years’ experience with regulated product development process (e.g. IEC62366; requirements; development stages)
  • Experience independently managing and prioritizing design approach to multiple projects (e.g. consultancy) or complex systems (e.g. medical systems).
  • Travel up to 20% of the time primarily between Boston and North Haven facilities via car or train as well as domestically and internationally at times.
  • CREO/ProE expertise including surfacing
  • Experience with timelines and budgeting
  • Workflow agility and clear communication to meet fluid project priorities and requirements and tight timelines
