As a Principal Analyst responsible for Performance & Business Insights within the Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEMA) region Strategic Partnerships & Patient Solutions (SPPS) team you will partner with business stakeholders to understand and solve business problems by querying, modeling, and visualizing data with the objective of producing actionable operational strategic insights to support business decision making. 
This role is a key position to create analytical solutions that are simple and innovative in a way that helps stakeholders perform at their best and drive business intelligence solutions. Furthermore, the role needs to seek out best practices, and be an agent of change within the organization to educate and drive data-based decisions and workflows for our stakeholders.

For this role, you will be expected to be located in Warsaw (Poland), Prague (Czech Republic), Zagreb (Croatia), Budapest (Hungary), Istanbul (Turkey) or in South Africa (preferably Jo’burg or Cape Town).

A Day in the Life
•    Facilitate the ideation and creation of analytical solutions capturing cross-functional performance indicators such as Sales, Receivables, Inventory Management.
•    Capture requirements from stakeholders, suggest improvements for analytical processes and ensure the development of Analytics & Insights aligns with the business objectives.
•    Write queries, design data models and create visuals to display the data.
•    Drive a multi-dimensional distributor assessment platform including Channel Partner target setting and performance tracking across quantitative and qualitative metrics. 
•    Work closely with Finance on budget and forecast modelling for indirect markets.
•    Act as a key resource to support company-wide analytics initiatives.
•    Ensure a high level of customer value and satisfaction through ownership. Promote the adoption and usage of analytics tools and insights.

Must Haves
•    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
•    5-7 years of related experience required in data modelling/visualization.
•    Experience with SQL for complex data scripting, querying and manipulation.
•    Experience with data preparation and transformation tools (e.g., Knime, Tableau Prep, Power Query).
•    Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
•    Experience working in big data environments (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake).
•    Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
•    Solid communication, and facilitation skills with the ability to translate user / business requirements into formalized reports and data models.
•    Fluent in English (verbal and written).
