Plant Maintenance Mechanic IV - Boiler 1C
- Requires a high school degree/GED or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience
- May require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
- Boiler license 1-C or greater
Nice to Have
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Must have a working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems
- Have a solid understanding of all Twin Cities sites and motivation to develop skills/knowledge.
- Understand regulated environment specifications, how they are operated/maintained.
- Experience with Facility Maintenance issues and downstream impact to occupants.
- Analytical thought process, ability to evaluate options, make decisions.
- Formal/informal leadership experience.
- Maintenance project experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of all systems and processes related to the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Computer skills to include building automation systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office products.
- EPA refrigeration “universal certification”
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
