Plant Maintenance Mechanic IV - Boiler 1C

• Requires a high school degree/GED or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience
• May require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
• Boiler license 1-C or greater

Nice to Have

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Must have a working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems
• Have a solid understanding of all Twin Cities sites and motivation to develop skills/knowledge.
• Understand regulated environment specifications, how they are operated/maintained.
• Experience with Facility Maintenance issues and downstream impact to occupants.
• Analytical thought process, ability to evaluate options, make decisions.
• Formal/informal leadership experience.
• Maintenance project experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of all systems and processes related to the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Computer skills to include building automation systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office products.
• EPA refrigeration “universal certification”
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
