In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will have responsibility for supporting the service America’s group that performs service and repairs on customer devices and company assets.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
· Create and/or update transfer service processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
· Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
· Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
· Adapts machine or equipment design to be used for factory service. This may require qualifying additional equipment.
· May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the manufacturing or service process.
· Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
· Develops and or updates manufacturing and services processes that are applicable to the products that area serviced at Plainfield.
· Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
· Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 2+ years of work experience in Engineering, manufacturing and/or Quality OR Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 0 years of work experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of CAP Agile
- Experience with Product Transfer
- Basic Knowledge of electronics
- Able to read schematics

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
