Machinist IV
- High school diploma or equivalent.
· Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in the set-up, operation, and care of special machine tools, such as lathes, mills, drills, jigs, grinders, and fixtures.
· Working knowledge of machinery components.
· Ability to set-up and operate special machine tools, shop machines, and power tools.
· Effective skills in blueprint reading/drafting standards
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Basic reading and math
· Analytical skills
· Reading engineering drawings
· Knowledge of various manufacturing and assembly processes
