Lead Equipment Maintenance Tech Swing Shift

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Working with maintenance team in sharing and providing knowledge and information, solving problems, and cooperating on projects.

·         Works with company personnel in a courteous, efficient manner while performing all duties and tasks.

·         Works with Superintendent to review problems and suggestions, training needs and engineering, production, and equipment changes.

·         Working knowledge of electricity and electronics.

·         Working knowledge of applicable computer programs and programmable logic controllers.

·         Effective mechanical aptitude.

·         Effective manual dexterity and eye hand coordination.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work in a team environment.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: 

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of technical school or equivalent.

 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

·         5 + years of related maintenance/facilities experience.

·         2 + years of related leadership experience.

 SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         5 + years of related maintenance/facilities lead experience.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·         Usual office environment with frequent* sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, balancing, stooping and occasional* climbing.

·         Frequent* use of eye, hand and finger coordination enabling use of office machinery.

·         Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. 

·         Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally* and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.

*Occasional:       Activity exists less than 1/3 of the time.
