IT Developer - Power Platform
• Creating and Managing Flows: Experienced in creating, maintaining, and managing flows for business processes.
• Networking: A deep understanding of embedded networks and how they work. Experience with custom communications.
• Error Handling: Able to debug and troubleshoot flows. It is known in the order of setting up flow failure notices.
• Conditional Logic: Knows how to use conditions, switches, and loops in flows to support complex business logic.
• Integration: Experience with streaming Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint and other Microsoft applications.
• Flow Templates: Experience using and editing templates to speed up flow creation.
• Performance and Process Optimization: The ability to optimize power flows for better performance and cost savings, especially for repetitive triggers.
• Operations and Governance: Familiarity with the Power Platform Administration Centre, setting up a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system, and ensuring compliance.
Power Apps:
• App Building and Design: Skilled in canvas and model-driven apps to fit business needs.
• Data Sources: Skilled in integrating data sources, such as SharePoint, SQL, Snowflake and custom APIs.
• Formulas and Logic: Advanced knowledge of Power Apps’ formula language to implement complex application logic.
• Components and Reuse: Able to create and reuse components in apps.
• Custom Connectors: Experience developing custom connectors for specific data source integrations.
• UI/UX Design: Ability to create user-friendly interfaces using Power Apps controls and design capabilities.
• Power Platform integration: Experience integrating Power Apps with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Performance Optimization: Proficient in optimizing application performance, reducing data requests, and reducing load times.
• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of setting up role-based applications, sharing processes, and ensuring apps meet organisational compliance requirements.
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and turn them into automated solutions.
• Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, business executives and end users. Use of Jira and confluence collaboration tools a plus.
• Documentation: Is proficient in processes, flows, and writing apps for training and problem solving.
• Ongoing learning: Constantly updating the Power Platform to make it better.
• Migration & Version Control: Experience in migrating solutions between locations and handling version control.
• Testing and QA: Ability to thoroughly test flows and apps, ensure they meet business requirements and are error-free.
