The Cardiac and Vascular Group brings all of our cardiac and vascular businesses together into one cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the needs of customers and patients across the globe.


A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides technical injection molding support to new projects and sustaining.
  • Recommends and implements injection molding and auxiliary equipment for new projects.
  • Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
  • Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
  • May develop and conduct statistical analysis or recommend additions to document work.
  • Leads the innovation, development and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures for transfer to manufacturing operations.
  • Works with Senior level injection molding engineers to assist on new project process development and injection mold tooling development.
  • Develops injection molding processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques including the measurement systems.
  • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide direction for Molding Technicians on project and daily tasks.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have
  • Experience with designing or manufacturing disposable medical devices
  • Experience with polymer processing
  • Experience with process qualification / validation
  • Experience working in a medical device company quality system
