  • Solid understanding of hospital operations
  • Thorough understanding of the Australian and New Zealand health care system (funding models, patient flows, decision making processes, etc.)
  • Capability to establish and use networks to acquire information
  • Maintenance of proactive relationships with customers, payers and healthcare providers
  • Strong analytical skills to develop customer specific plans, strategies and tactics.
  • Ability manage multiple complex projects at the same time
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and customers (strong written and verbal skills)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  Able to communicates with ease at different levels of hierarchy
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Can deliver a customer focused service to internal and external customers

Experience and Knowledge: 
  • 10+ years of healthcare experience with a strong preference given to demonstrated experience working within a hospital setting
  • Clinical background preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in solutions selling
  • Demonstrated experience of hospital operations
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Thorough understanding of the Australian and New Zealand health care system (funding models, patient flows, decision making processes, etc.)

    • The MTAA Code,
    • The TGA Advertising regulations.
    • Sound working knowledge of EEO and anti-discrimination legislation and principles.
 Qualifications:
 
  • Degree in Business, Health or Engineering Science.  MBA Preferred.

  • 50% travel will be required
  • Some out of hours work will be required
  • Some international travel will be required
  • Physical demands, manual handling
