IC Layout Technician IV
- High school diploma or equivelant
- Minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have
- Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso XL and Calibre or PVS tool suites.
- Experience with floor planning, block level routing and top-level chip assembly.
- Knowledge of high-performance analog layout techniques such as common centroid layout, shielding, use of dummy devices.
- Knowledge of low power design and applicable best practice techniques.
- Set up LVS, DRC, ERC environments and debug verification issues.
- Experience with sub-micron design in foundry – 55nm preferred.
- Experience in IOESD/ Memory/ Digital library design a plus.
- Knowledge of skill code and layout automation a plus.
- Knowledge of advanced packaging technologies a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to define and adhere to a schedule.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with distributed design teams a plus.
- Experience in the design of medical devices
