MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•    Perform original design work utilizing specifications, sketches and ideas on developing designs.

•    Compile data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.

•    Collaborate in the preparation for plans for existing buildings where plans are not available.

•    Conduct preliminary studies of proposed projects to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of drawing.

•    Collaborate in the review of shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notifies Architect of discrepancies.

•    Planning a particular assignment / project

•    Collaborate in the preparation of 3D visualization  

•    Participate in project meetings for the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

 

Education

•    Degree in Architecture, Civil engineering or related fields

•    Registration of a recognized Professional Board is highly desirable.

•    Certification in Project Management will be an advantage

 

Experience

•    Minimum 5 years of planning, design and construction experience

•    Previous experience with architecture, engineering firm, governmental institutions  or construction companies  

•    Demonstrated experience managing project design, cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resources

•    Previous experience in healthcare design

•    Knowledge within the medical field as: hospital/department design from conceptual to detailed planning, understanding of clinical workflows
