JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Educated to university degree level
• Experience in healthcare sector, preferably in sales or technical support, in the Cardiology field
• Knowledge of cardiac implantable devices and therapies is desirable 
• Experience in marketing or market development roles may also be of benefit
• Experience of working with government/National/regional/local bodies
• Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process within hospital and buying process
• Key Account Management mentality
• Ability to understand patient care pathways, diagnose customer challenges and opportunities, articulate personalized value proposition and translate this into solutions to increase new patient access to therapy.
• Thorough understanding of the health care system and health economics

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Very strong teamwork skills are required to be able to collaborate with the different internal and external stakeholders in complex situations, including influencing skills
• Ability to understand Heart Failure mechanisms and possible therapies. Must be able to get enough knowledge of ICD and CRT therapies to have conversations on the topic with KOLs.
• Good Speaker/Trainer aptitudes.
• Ability to manage projects and meetings involving different stakeholders with different interests.
• Strong business acumen utilized to deliver business results through the development of actions focused on new patient access to therapy.
• Create and develop therapy focused networks with the objective of increasing patient access to therapy.
• Collaboration with health care professionals to create data to support the benefits of therapy and help them delivering these data to their peers.
• Understanding of how hospitals manage budgets and appreciation of hospital administration goals/objectives.
• Ability to build and execute tailored commercial activities to achieve sustainable revenue success.
