Government Affairs Director–Private Public Partnerships (PPP)
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Government Affairs, Health Economics, Business or related field
• 12+ years of experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
• Government affairs leadership experience in a multinational company or in the public sector
• Experience working with political or governmental organizations and decision makers
• Experience and strong track record in PPPs.
• Experience working in different geographies and political systems; strong abilities to communicate and operate in foreign countries
• Proficient in English language
NICE TO HAVE
• Master’s or professional degree in Business Administration, public policy, international relations, or related field (e.g., law, communications, public health)
• Financial and deal experience, including with a focus on PPP’s
• Knowledge of legal and government policy environment around PPP’s
• Public sector experience, including a role negotiating a PPP on behalf of a Government
• Healthcare industry experience
• Overall PPP negotiating experience, not necessarily only in the healthcare sector Extensive international experience highly desirable
• Experience in solutions/project management highly desirable
• Knowledge and experience of PPP government contracting/tendering
• Ability to work effectively and deliver outstanding results in a complex, cross-functional environment
• Experience with creative and strategic approaches to government policy and advocacy
• Excellent internal and external communication, advocacy, and diplomatic skills
• Strong ability to analyze, synthesize, and persuasively communicate regarding government policies
• Ability to drive thought leadership and program excellence inside the company
• Additional language capabilities highly advantageous
