Field Reimbursement Manager - West Coast
- BA or BS required - major in business or a healthcare related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working directly with customers to remove reimbursement barriers, and payers to gain or improve coverage for products reimbursed under the medical benefit required.
- Advanced understanding of US Managed care marketplace, Medicare, coverage of technology under the medical benefit and the mechanics of reimbursement required.
- Previous experience in medical device or pharma company required.
- Extensive knowledge of reimbursement across all sites of service including physician office reimbursement, hospital outpatient and inpatient facility and ambulatory surgical centers.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office and sales force
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all sales/marketing personnel, customer groups, clinical staff and management team
- Travel up to 30%
- MBA, MPH or other health care graduate degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is preferred
