Must Have:

 

To be considered for this role, the following minimum requirements must evident on your resume.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience providing work direction and leadership
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Availability after normal working hours.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Knowledgeable in Building Automation Systems
  • Working knowledge of security, maintenance operations, administrative services, contract management, janitorial and grounds maintenance
  • Team building and development experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication 
  • Microsoft Office applications including Outlook 
  • Leadership Skills
  • Ability to initiate and lead process improvements
  • Excellent customer service
  • Executive communication skills
  • Financial management/budgeting
  • Personnel management
  • Excellent organizational skills

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • Facility Management Administrator (FMA)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing in a corporate environment.
  • Engineering, Facilities Planning, Maintenance or Operations experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Experience working with GMP controlled environmental areas
  • Experience working in a medical device / regulated environment
  • Knowledgeable in managing hazardous materials, emergency planning, Fire & Life Safety, lab safety, indoor air quality, injury and illness prevention, and contractor safety
  • Knowledgeable about best safety practices in a manufacturing facility and OSHA regulations
  • Knowledgeable in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Event management
  • Analytical/ problem resolution
  • Computer applications (business)
  • Working knowledge of Business Process Improvement (BPI)
