In this exciting role as an Equipment Maintenance Technician III, you will have responsibility for the maintenance and repairs of all production equipment. You will perform preventive and emergency maintenance and other duties assigned.


A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Performs preventive maintenance according to company standards and a predetermined schedule.
  • Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
  • Experience with some or all disciplines of mechanical systems such as vacuum, electrical, electronic, or refrigeration systems.
  • Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
  • Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes and electronic voltmeters.
  • Install and repair electrical equipment such as motors, pumps, transformers, generators, instruments, lighting systems and power distribution devices.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Will develop a good working knowledge of the Building Management System.
  • Respond to Building Management System calls.
  • Participation in the on-call rotation.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, Holidays, and weekends as needed due to vacation, illness, etc.
  • Lead equipment repairs and provide improvement suggestions.
  • Complete aseptic training and be qualified to enter the sterile processing areas.
  • Comply with all company’s safety rules and guidelines
  • Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per company guidelines.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
  • Hihg school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have
  • Black seal high pressure Boiler operator license or will be willing to obtain within a year of hire.
  • Vocational or technical education or certification.
  • OSHA safety training
  • Medical device manufacturing environment experience
  • Maximo or other CMMS experience.
