Engineering Manager - System Design
Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience
- An Advanced Degree and 3+ years of experience
Nice to Have
• Bachelors degree required in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline.
• Previous medical device experience with a history of developing products from technology to market release
• Knowledge of engineering statistical tools/methods such as DOE, Monte Carlo, Minitab, ANOVA, (DFLS, DFSS, or DRM Green or Black Belt certification a plus)
• Experience selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel
• Basic knowledge of anatomy/physiology;
• Experience interfacing with physician customers and therapy consultants
• Experience developing software applications
• Experience developing hardware
• Experience developing system definition, system design and requirements, requirement tracing to subsystems and interface requirements, and system verification and validation strategy and testing
• Experience with systems engineering principles, including requirement analysis and allocation, architecture, verification, and validation
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement by studying and applying technical advances in area of expertise
• Excellent verbal and writing skills, including presenting
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others on cross-functional teams
