In this exciting role as a Released Product Engineering Senior Program Manager, you will have responsibility for leading significant programs and projects that support and maintain market released products in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). These products include implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, cardiac re-synchronization devices, and cardiac rhythm monitors) as well as cardiac leads and their delivery systems.
-Cardiac Rhythm Management
Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. It is comprised of three key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, and Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Services. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.
A Day in the Life
You will primarily lead projects and programs from these three areas:
- Design Change Projects will re-engineer an aspect of a market released product in accordance with the CHRF product development and formal design change process.
- Product Quality and Compliance Activities will address strategic concerns and drive compliance implementation via the CRHF Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process or other project execution processes, as well as providing technical support for product regulatory approval submissions.
- Process Improvement Activities will organize and execute projects to drive continuous improvement in cross-functional product support processes using a structured approach.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in strategic discussions and help select and define post-market projects
- Build high performing cross-functional project teams on a global basis
- Run multiple projects of varying complexity & duration in parallel
- Utilize effective influence, prioritization, conflict resolution & risk management skills
- Drive project execution across functions and facilities to achieve results
- Communicate effectively with senior leaders across CRHF

- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
- A record of success in leading product development and/or process improvement projects
- The ability to effectively interface and influence employees at all organizational levels
- Strength in working with cross-functional teams across facilities to solve problems
- Detailed skill in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks
- The ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks
- Basic financial acumen and the ability to quantify results (e.g. ROI analysis)
