A Day in the Life
In your role you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the statuses of accounts regularly to identify problematic accounts; reconciling with customers to maintain accurate balances for timely collection and making customer visits to maintain relations and resolving credit and collection issues (if any).
- Collaborating with the Cash Application team to match payments with associated invoices and resolving unidentified payments.
- Analyzing credit information and reports to participate in establishing appropriate credit limits to minimize the organization’s credit risk.
- Developing and maintaining necessary processes to monitor payment tools i.e., post-dated cheques and securities in the system.
- Managing complex credit matters i.e., negotiating and following-up repayment plans or developing proper activities & projects to improve free cash flow and reduce DSO level.
- Ensuring all necessary credit data is available and accurate in “Customer master data “in SAP.
- Supporting both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with the requirements.
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit & Collection, Accounting, or Finance.
- Determined approach towards debt resolution.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with both internal and external customers.
- Excellent system knowledge (particularly MS Office Programs, SAP and 1C).
- Ability to work at all levels and across departments within the organization.
- This role is target-driven, and the candidate must have the ability to work independently, with initiative, self-motivation, discipline, and high standard of work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, Russian and Kazakh.
