We would like to offer you the position of Credit & Collection Support Specialist. The Credit & Collection Support Specialist will report to Credit Services Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage the credit and collection activities for Medtronic Saudi Arabia and Gulf region. To ensure that we meet business standards and to drive process improvement and standardization initiatives.


A Day in the Life
•    Interact with clients and internal stakeholders regarding collections, order release, credit limit setting and dispute resolution.
•    Be responsible for all Saudi & Gulf collections activities on assigned portfolios. Activities include minimising customer account balances, proper account reconciliation, timely escalation/resolution of disputes and collection issues by leveraging professional relationships with internal and external customers.
•    Prepare all delegations necessary for the collection agency to proceed with collection activities.
•    Ensure that unallocated cash is followed up regularly and that enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
•    Provide accurate and informed responses to customer queries (internal & external) through correspondence and telephone contact.
•    Review new customer creation forms, completing the necessary credit details and liaising with the relevant team to ensure new customers are created in a timely manner.
•    Produce reports to assist management and perform account and customer reconciliations as required.

Must Haves
•    Knowledge of customer’s collection processes 
•    2 or more years of cash operations experience
•    Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers
•    Excel skills – intermediate level as a minimum
•    Ability to identify problems & find appropriate solutions
•    This role is target-driven, and the candidate must have the ability to work independently, with initiative, self-motivation, discipline, and high standard of work ethic

Nice to Haves
•    Experience with SAP and FSCM is an advantage
•    Accounting or business administration background
•    Arabic speaker and good command on English language
