Clinical Specialist (Minnesota)

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Demonstrate effective educational and presentation skills in diverse settings from one-on-one to formal large group situations

Willingness to travel 85% or greater in given territory.

Language Ability:

English is the primary language of the organization and our customers in the U.S.  Candidates must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public is critical.  Additional language skills are a plus, but not required.

• Bachelor’s degree, Nursing degree, or Certificate or License in the Healthcare field

• Prior adult education and training experience; in the Gastroenterology-related field is desired

• Demonstrated ability to articulate highly technical information to a diverse audience

• Demonstrated success in working in a team setting and matrix managed environment

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels in business

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues that may occur with any of Medtronic GI Solutions full suite of products

• Ability to travel overnight to client facilities by auto or aircraft 50-75% of the time

  Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems

   

  Computer Skills:

  Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Internet software, Order processing, database software, contact management. Able to troubleshoot basic technical issues that may occur with any of Medtronic GI Solutions hardware and software systems

  Physical Demands:

  Must be able to lift computer equipment weighing approximately 50 lbs. Ability to install equipment on-site. May be asked to set up exhibit displays at tradeshows
