Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

 

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor degree with minimum of  8  years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor degree (minimum).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.  The employee is also required to use a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers via a variety of media including telephone, email, instant message, social networking platforms, and in-person meetings.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required
  • This position is responsible for managing the activities of Site Director and interactions with various stakeholder son communications and coordination of business activities.
  • The individual achieves results using a combination of direct involvement and collaboration with partners across the Medtronic matrix and external resources as needed
  • Responsibilities are executed with minimal guidance where issues are attempted to be resolved autonomously before escalation and priorities are established to ensure appropriate phasing of various execution. The individual would work under guidance of the Site Director
  • Business Coordination Activities :

  1. Assists Site Director to develop MEIC level governing operation and communication mechanisms including coordinating, developing agenda, facilitating, and ensuring follow-through of actions
  2. Develops and manages tools (ex. trackers for key milestones) and dashboards (ex. balanced scorecard) to track, manage, and communicate progress against plans for various COTs/ Functional Groups in collaboration with PMO

  • Global Communications

  1. Partner  with appropriate internal  and external resources and manageexecution of governance and communication plan in conjunction with MEIC LT& key cross-functional stakeholders
  2. Develops basic communications material (ex. Business (COTs)  division or function announcements); works with business or function leader and appropriate cross-functional partners  to develop communication content (e.g. larger-scale announcement, town hall presentations, Q&A and employee messaging, etc)
  3. Assists business or function leader in development of presentations for business or functional reviews

  • Organizational Initiatives

  1. Leads analysis of organizational health survey results in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders
  2. Assists business or function leader and works with key cross-functional partners to develop strategy and action plans for enhancing employee engagement; manages execution & communicates progress of action plans
  3. Manages intake & processing of employee feedback
  4. Collate & roll-out information to people managers from the business or function leader on employee-related initiatives and deadlines (e.g. reminders on Career Development for All, Leadership Expectations, Leadership Excellence, IDP planning) under guidance of Site HR Manager

  • Office environment where the employee would be standing and sitting most of the day at a desk or in a conference room for meetings. 
  • Solid process or operations management capabilities
  • Cross-functional team facilitation capabilities and good organizational skills
  • Ability to drive alignment, collaboration, and execution across complex global matrix
  • Exceptional natural orientation towards cross-functional partnership, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Solid customer-facing skills and Communication Skills.
  • Experience presenting complex topics in simplistic ways
  • Solid competence in Microsoft excel &  power point is a must

  • Preferred BBA .
  • Cross-functional team facilitation capabilities.
  • Strong  organizational skills.
