Associate Industrial Engineer

Education required/preferred:

BS in Industrial or Systems Engineering required

 

Experience:

0 – 2 years

 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

·         Highly skilled with MS Excel and AutoCAD

·         Industrial Engineering background including capacity planning/modeling, time-studies, balance tables and flexible work-cell development, financial analysis, and standard cost development

 

Preferred Skills/Competencies:

Six Sigma Tools, Lean Manufacturing Concepts

Strong understanding of financial analysis

 

Other Skills:

Strong written and verbal communications (including presentation skills)

 

Organizational Relationships/Scope:

This position is a part of the Operations Commercialization Engineering (OCE) team, within SI OpEx & Engineering.   It supports Surgical Innovations manufacturing locations and R&D centers.

 

Working Conditions:

Office environment, with time required working directly on the manufacturing floor; <25%travel required.
