The Associate Environment, Health & Safety Specialist will be responsible for the deployment and implementation of Environment, Health & Safety policies, and procedures in accordance with country regulatory requirements and Medtronic’s standards. The employee will facilitate workplace and specific risk assessments including Chemical, Biological agents, Fire safety, Radiation, PPE, Manual Handling, Ergonomics, Displace Screen equipment etc. for onsite activities and for the organization. 
This to ensure a healthy, save and secure work environment for all the employees.

A Day in the Life
•    Supports implementation of relevant corporate EHS standards, policies, and procedures to provide for a safe and secure working environment.
•    Monitors compliance with State sanitary standards, the level of air ionization, microclimate, and lighting in the office premises.
•    Prepares proposals for Management for benefits for employees who actively participate in the organization of healthy working conditions at workplaces, as well as report the employees’ violations and non-fulfillment of legislative and other regulatory acts on labor protection and fire safety.
•    Participates in the work of the commission for the investigation of incidents related to the work and prepares the necessary documents based on the results of its work.
•    Keeps records of incidents, occupational diseases occurred in the Company.
•    Investigates the reports, statements, and complaints of employees on labor protection issues in accordance with legislation and prepares draft answers (proposals) on the issues raised.
•    Prepares statistical reports according to established forms and performs the proper registration and storage of documentation on labor protection issues, as well as transferring to the archive for long-term storage in accordance with the established procedure.

Must Haves
•    Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field including chemistry, biology, engineering, environmental, industrial hygiene and/or safety
•    At least 2 years of work experience in the relevant position
•    Ability to work with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
•    Fluency in English and Ukrainian language
•    Ability to work part time model (5 hours/week from the office)
•    Ability to interact and work cooperatively with all levels of employees
•    Able to work in a cross-functional and multinational environment
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
