Our Purpose 
In our Global Record to Report (RtR) Controllership Finance team in Medtronic plc. we focus on supporting the business in a compliant and ethical manner. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for fiduciary and statutory requirements for the Medtronic Parkmore, Mervue and Athlone manufacturing sites including local government and tax compliance and controls.

A Day in The Life Of:

• You will manage and lead the all-Ireland RtR Controllership finance team, including the completion of goal setting, development plans and performance reviews.
• You will be responsible for ensuring completion of internal and external reporting in accordance with strict reporting deadlines, including US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• You will provide guidance to the Irish sites regarding internal controls, business conduct standards, processes, and procedures.
• You will oversee the completion of various projects, including process efficiencies and other problem-solving initiatives that support strategic imperatives & business needs.
• You will support treasury, intercompany and accounts payable activities performed by Financial Shared Services Centre in Holland.
• You will ensure tax compliance, including Corporation Tax, PAYE/PRSI & VAT.
