Senior Software Engineer
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Specialized Knowledge Required
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Programming expertise in C# (or equivalent programming language)
- Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug, and test practices
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated skill in writing engineering documents
- Experience in software design and development in a regulated industry
- Independent worker operating successfully under limited supervision
- Proficiency working in a team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with cardiac implantable device operation/data
- Knowledge of XML and related technologies, including XSD, XSLT, and XPath/XQuery
- Experience with or working knowledge of the IHE PCD IDCO/HL standard for implantable device data interchange
- Experience developing software following Agile or Scrum practices
- Quality focus, detail oriented, willingness to learn, versatility and adaptability
- Experience with version control systems using Git such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
- Experience with implantable cardiac device clinical workflow and data models such as electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling, and admission systems
- Experience with or working knowledge of the Paceart Optima™ System and Mainspring® Data Express
