Technician III
- High school diploma or equivelant
- Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have
- College coursework or Undergraduate Degree in the Sciences
- Chemistry background in either professional or academic experience
- Experience in analytical chemistry methods including HPLC, GC etc
- Coating/material deposition processes/ Instrumentation (spray, spin, dip etc)
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience in Microsoft Excel including creating spreadsheets, editing spreadsheets, and performing simple calculations/manipulation of data in spreadsheets.
- Basics statistics knowledge
- Experience working with biologics & drug formulations
- Exposure to organic synthesis; polymer or small molecules
- Material characterization techniques including DSC, rheology
- Experience with documentation of work, protocols and testing (Ex. laboratory notebooks, reports, IQ/OQ/PQ’s, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.).
- Familiarity with biochemical/colorimetric assays

- All training is mandatory and all safety rules and protocols must be followed. Safety procedures and protocols including proper gowning, gloves, safety glasses, eye wear protection required at all times in laboratories.
- Sit/stand for up to six to eight hours per day.
- Work under a microscope for up to six to eight hours per day.
- The employee is required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
- Able to lift 25 pounds.
- Able to work in a moderately noisy environment.
- Work in environment with lasers and UV light, chemicals, and Bio Hazard materials.
