JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    7+ years professional commercial experience in Healthcare / Medical Devices / Pharma ideally in a mature European market, ideally in a large corporate environment 
•    5+ years of leadership experience
•    Experienced in managing fast paced growth environment as well a mature / commoditized business segment
•    Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).

Travel Required: 
•    Willingness to travel 30-40 % mainly within Iberia (but occasionally outside). 

Location:
•    Spain or Portugal close to an airport

•    Strong strategic thinker, able to identify potential opportunities and threats in the market and turn into opportunities. Able to translate the regional business strategy into regional growth plans.
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
•    Role model for operating in the ambiguous situations, champions positive ideas and challenges consistently the conventional wisdom. Serves as an advocate for major change initiatives and conveys need for action to others to motivate change.
•    Able to partner with the distributors, building solid relationships and working relationship, leveraging strong influence management skills.
•    Strong talent development skills: Provides constructive feedback and coaching and creates an environment for effective talent development. 
•    Strong motivation skills, engaging and convincing personality, able to motivate direct and dotted line teams to achieve business objectives. 
•    Assertive in setting high expectations for the organization, persistent in efforts to achieve goals and remove barriers. Strong ability to get plans executed from direct reports and non-direct reports.
•    Strong drive for results, ensuring can hold both themselves and the team members accountable for delivering on commitments
•    Possesses sense of urgency in decision making process, yet still maintains well though-out, data-driven decision-making process.
•    Strong financial knowledge – full understanding of all P&L elements and their inter-relationship. Ability to manage within the budget and to quantify financial impact of decisions and identifies key factors when making recommendations.
•    Ability to convey messages effectively in a variety of settings and across levels.
•    Leads by example, shows integrity and highest ethical standards in every action.
