Engineering Manager - System Integration and Test
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Nice to Have
- Experience planning and leading systems integration, verification and validation strategy and testing
- Strong people leadership skills and strong collaboration and cross-discipline focus
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, including presenting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others on cross-functional teams
- Experience that demonstrates strong project management skills and leading teams to successful completion(planning, estimation, work breakdown, task definition and scheduling, work direction and motivation)
- Experience building and maintaining automated test systems
- Experience building high functioning teams.
- 5+ years regulated medical device development environment
- Experience working in a matrix environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience interfacing with physician customers and therapy consultants
- Experience developing software applications
- Experience developing hardware
- Knowledge of engineering statistical tools/methods such as DOE, Monte Carlo, Minitab, ANOVA, (DFLS, DFSS, or DRM Green or Black Belt certification a plus)
- Demonstrated balance of high level strategic and detailed tactical thought processes and judgment
- Experience selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel
