Systems Engineering Manager - Imaging
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Multiple years’ experience as a Systems Engineer or core team leader.
- Experience managing Systems Engineering teams that integrate software and hardware components in System or System of Systems design.
- Understand and apply emotional intelligence within themselves and their teams.
- Strong mentorship and active listening capabilities.
- A good leader that can positively drive change and deliver impactful results.
- Experience in X-Ray based anatomical imaging, image processing, robotic systems, and/or motion control.
- Experience in software, hardware, and system design – including development practices in those areas.
- High skill in requirements development and safety risk management practices for medical device design.
- Is a versatile, technically savvy, curious, broad systems thinker, and willing/able to work in a space with a lot of ambiguity.
- Good judgment in assessing opportunities and risks of solutions.
- Ability to assess new technologies via comprehensive reviews of the state-of-the-art.
- Good at communicating complex technical opportunities, challenges, and other information to upper management in a concise but thorough fashion.
- Demonstrates creativity while solving complex problems without known solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Solid engineering functional leadership skills and experience.
