Principal Firmware Engineer
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- +10 years of medical product development
- Object oriented design
- Embedded microprocess software design
- DSP software design
- Real time operating systems
- Wired and wireless communication protocols
- Motion Control/Robotics
- Microsoft Visual Studio with TFS
- Complex algorithm design
- Manufacturing support
- C/C++/C#/Python
- Windows/Linux
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the R&D organization
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with Medical Device Directive (MDD), ISO 13485/IEC 62304/ISO 14971, FDA design controls or similar regulatory environment
- Domestic and International Travel of approximately 10%.
- Masters of Science or PhD.
- Experience with analog and digital hardware
- Experience driving technology integration and adoption
