Distinguished Systems Engineer- EP Mapping & Navigation
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 15+ years of experience. Alternatively, 13+ years of experience with advanced degree
- Broad knowledge in EP ablation across different types of procedures (AF, SVT, VT) and different technologies (3D mapping and navigation, EP recording, Cryo, RF, pulsed field ablation, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist credentials or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience directly operating 3D mapping and navigation systems & EP lab systems in the field to support a variety of procedures, customers, and centers.
- Background in product development cycle for medical devices.
- Ability to converse, provide input, and guide development decisions with high levels of technical competency regarding EP signals and mapping/navigation engineering concepts such as amplification, filtering, noise, compatibility, and impedance.
- Excellent conflict resolution, written and verbal communication skills to work in a cross-functional team to influence product development and define product roadmap.
- Have established relationship with multiple KOLs (key opinion leaders) in the 3D map and navigation area and experience in collecting customer inputs.
- Proven ability to work on geographically dispersed project teams.
- Familiarity with both US and worldwide EP market.
- High-level understanding of quality, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- 2+ years’ product development experience in a medical device company operating under design controls.
- Experience listening, understanding conflicting needs, and exerting influence within a highly matrixed organization.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
