Must Haves
 
  • Biomedical Engineering or equivalent technical university degree
  • Min 7+ years of experience in equipment and medical sector (hospital) with experience in capital equipment management and planning
  • Minimum 5+ years of international experience
  • Experience in CathLabs (CLs) and Operation Rooms (ORs)
  • Demonstrated experience managing project design, cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resources
  • Experience in coordinating Turnkey Hospitals projects
  • Experience in technology assessing and planning for the diverse hospital departments
  • Experience or familiarity to the service and maintenance of the equipment
  • Experience in project management and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of principles and techniques of carrying out Healthcare Facilities assessments
  • Problem solving attitude and results orientation. Capability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals
  • Oversee and participate in the compilation of data, maintenance of records and files, and the preparation of clear and concise administrative and technical reports
  • Self-starter, with a strong ability to work without very close supervision in a high-pressure environment
  • Software Skills: MS Office; MS Project
  • Fluent English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
 
 

Nice to Haves

  • Registration of a recognized Professional Board is highly desirable
  • Certification in Project Management will be an advantage
  • Working Knowledge of Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch or Arabic is a plus
  • Proven track record in technical advice and management of capital equipment, preferable in the field of cardiology and surgery and Medical IT
  • Experience working within a multi-national team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Commercial acumen
  • Navigation skills under uncertainty
  • Organization oriented with technical imprint
 

Willingness to travel in Europe (20-30%)
