Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have

• 10 years of relevant experience at Sr. level or above.
• Experience in a medical device related industry with a demonstrated track record of developing capital products/processes for new products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements that pertain to medical device electronic systems.
• Significant history with IEC60601-1 including electrical safety and EMC testing.
• Strong experience with motors and motor control, especially using BLDC motors.
• Experience with sensors such as Encoders, Hall Effect Sensors, Torque, and Load Cells.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for optimizing product costs.
• Knowledge and extensive experience on Project Management.
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude (aptitude for understanding and using machines and/or tools).
• Six Sigma/Lean certified preferred.
• Well versed in Design for Excellence (DFX) Principles.
• Knowledgeable in risk management methodologies such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
• Seasoned user of electronic design tools, e.g., OrCAD and Allegro.
• Effective communication skills with superiors, peers and subordinates.

Travel required 20-30% of the time. International travel may be required.
