Sr Software V&V Engineer
Must Have
Job Respobsibilities
· Plan, Develop and execute software testing (both manual and automated) based on the context of functional requirements and risks associated with the software items.
· Participate in Test design, Test reviews, Test analysis and support development of documentation required as objective evidence for software verification & validation (plan, protocols, results and reports).
· Must be able to communicate and collaborate test activities, tasks schedule and resource assignment with the cross-functional team for both on or off-site (India and Israel) teams.
· Monitor test results and check exit criteria. Adjust test planning based on test results and progress. Introduce suitable metrics for test progress and the quality of the software items
· Familiar with the Agile Software development methodology. Familiar with continuous integration, configuration management and traceability tools.
· Participate in other quality assurance functions, including, but not limited to, supporting compliance audits, test automation strategy and development.
· Involvement in Innovation, technical discussion’s, product/process improvements and Kaizans
· Helping/Guiding other team members in resolutions of issues/queries related to automation and product
Minimum Qualifications & Specialized Knowledge required
· ME/MTech/BE/BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
· Minimum 8 years in software quality assurance, V&V or software quality development.
· Or, some medical device product experience (preferably medical devices) or regulated fields
· SW V&V industry experience - Desktop SW V&V Skills, Windows 7 & 10, DICOM & PACS, Basic Networking knowledge and OS Cyber security knowledge
· Some working experience in a prescriptive software development environment following a well-defined software development process.
· Understand test automation concept, and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Test Complete, Selenium etc.)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and works well in a tightly coupled team
Nice to Haves
· Membership in one or more professional societies and/or professional certification (e.g. ISTQB, CSQE, CSTE, etc.).
· Familiarity with FDA regulations and recommended practices regarding software (21CFR 820.30, IEC 62304:2015, ISO 14971:2012).
