Upstream Senior Product Manager, Diabetes
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience
Upstream marketing, product development, systems, or human factors engineering background required
- MBA preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
field highly preferred
- 1+ year of experience in medical device,
pharma, healthcare or biotech or consumer goods
- 1+ year of experience in product development
or marketing in a large, multinational company
- New product voice of customer/market research
and design experience
- Cross-functional product management
(ownership) experience
- Software product launch experience
- Knowledge of medical device industry
practices, techniques and standards (e.g., role of clinical trials,
reimbursement landscape)
- Experience working in a fast paced, global
organization
- Global perspective and mindset
- Sound financial and/or business analytical
skills
- Experience applying market research techniques,
drawing conclusions and/or making recommendations based on data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
with experience communicating with senior leaders.
- Understanding of medical technology businesses
and interest in medical products
- Strong work ethic, high integrity, and works
well under pressure
- Energetic self-starter who thrives in
ambiguous situations and drives to results
- Ability to apply creativity and ingenuity to
find unique solutions to complex problems
- Diabetes product knowledge is a plus
