Sr. Manufacturing Engineer (Multiple positions available)
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Masters’
degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Chemical Engineering and two (2) years
of experience with product manufacturing and two (2) years of post-bachelor’s
progressive experience in all the following: Electronic device manufacturing or
electrical systems manufacturing or plastics manufacturing; Performing statistical
analysis of Gage R& R, ANOVA and Capability & Normality Assessments;
With PFMEA; Characterizing processes using quality tools available in Minitab
or JMP including DOE, SPC, hypothesis testing and capability studies to
measure, monitor, improve and control manufacturing processes; Creating SPC
charts and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAP) for critical processes; SQL or
Business Objects for production data analysis; Navigating production issues,
non-conforming products, root cause analysis and product disposition; Lean
manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, incorporating GMP (Good
Manufacturing Practices), 8D Problem Solving and DMAIC Problem Solving;
Projects related to product scrap reduction, cost reduction and labor
efficiency improvement
