Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience
in Finance and/or Accounting OR
Advanced Degree with 5+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Nice to Have
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (including charts, pivot tables & lookup tables) and PowerPoint
- Solid accounting (GAAP), financial and business management foundation
- MBA/CPA/CMA – Finance and Accounting Knowledge
- Medtronic business unit finance experience
- Strong ability to work in financial/reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, CMR, SPEND, BOXI)
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, complex, matrix organization with various levels of management effectively influencing the decision-making process by taking initiative to communicate appropriate courses of action backed by sound financial analysis
- Ability to manage and manipulate data, financial results and ideas to develop financial analysis and transform it into concise presentations for various level of management
- Exhibit accountability and flexibility in taking on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, managing tight time commitments and working independently in a high-paced environment full of changes and uncertainties
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong business partnering relationships across functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and self-confidence
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities
