A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following - and other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
- Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
- Makes budgetary recommendations on direct labor.
- Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
- Plans employees’ certifications & multi skills plan
- Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
- Leads daily team meeting, coordinate issue resolution with support functions (Quality Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Detailed Scheduling, Logistics, EHS, …) and escalate issues to next level
- Able to manages 40-45 Direct labor employees with 4 Team leaders
- French is mandatory
- Associate degree OR A Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum 3 years of manufacturing work experience as supervisor or OPEX leader or Manufacturing Engineer
- Nice to have: Fluent English
