Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field with 5+ years engineering experience
OR
Advanced Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field with 3+ years engineering experience
Nice to Have

Developed/maintained strategic polymer technical initiatives for Diabetes to align with functional and organizational strategic plans. Led polymer selection and characterization activities.

Designed and directed bench and animal studies of materials to ensure successful development of next generation products.

Developed accelerated bench screening methodologies in order to predict long term performance and reliability.

Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and prioritize changing demands in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of statistical analysis software and applications

Knowledge and experiences of Design Reliability Manufacturability (DRM)

Proficiency in SolidWorks

High level proficiency of technical principles, theories, and design concepts in the field of medical device design

Strong skills in design of experiments, data analysis, written and verbal communications, and collaboration

Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects

Proficient in engineering fundamentals and uses good engineering judgment

Author, execute, review, and approve protocols, reports, and/or regulatory submissions

Ability to prototype concepts build fixtures

Extensive knowledge in analyzing and solving problems in a disciplined fashion, ensuring clear understanding of the root cause(s) and efficient recommendations for resolution
