Accountant - Fixed Assets
- BA in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of Accounting, Finance or Fixed Assets experience.
- Fluent in communication in English and Spanish (writing & speaking)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, including macros and advanced functions
- Previous experience in financial close process
- Knowledge in SAP - Fixed Assets module preferred
- People skills.
- Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (USGAAP)
Nice to Have
- Experience auditing financial processes and records
- Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities
- Willingness and ability to perform financial analysis
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish group objectives
- Ability to respond to questions from Medtronic internal customers on capital expense requirements
- Working knowledge of Hyperion reporting systems
- Preferably in a large, multi-national organization.
