Test Engineer II
- Bachelors degree in a technical field is required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
- Knowledge of applicable AAMI, ISO, FDA, ASME, IEC, and EN standards
- Working knowledge of hardware design, development, root cause analysis and test practices.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience with medical device testing and understanding of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR)
- Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Machine shop experience
- Experience with statistical methods using MINITAB, R, or equivalent software
- Experience with 3D CAD using CREO, SOLIDWORKS or other equivalent software.
- Experience with reliability test methods.
- Experience with shock/vibration testing, environmental testing, Operating System testing.
- Experience with the following standards: IEC 60601-1, ASTM D4169, ISTA 2A.
