A Day in the Life

Medtronic is intensely focused on creating a workplace environment which reflects our standing as the world’s top medical device company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the patients we serve and an unrelenting desire to improve our business.  You will work on the 2nd shift, 5 days a week Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads production teamwork process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
  • Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
  • Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
  • Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem-solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
  • Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.


Nice to Have

  • Prior experience providing supervision or mentorship to lower-level production staff. 
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player. 
  • Experienced in training and onboarding. Ability to provide process improvement recommendations to supervisors. 
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
