Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, preferably controls or robotics related, with a minimum of 10 years of software verification experience, or an advanced degree plus 7 years related experience. 

• Deep understanding of Model-In-the-Loop (MIL) testing and test development techniques (requirement-based testing, property proving, test sequence/assessment) using Simulink test and Simulink Design Verifier 

• Development of verification test methods to evaluate performance metrics of complex, electromechanical medical systems 

• Expert use of modeling & simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink strongly preferred) 

• Familiarity with multi-body kinematics and dynamics 

• Familiarity with position, velocity, and torque feedback controllers 

• Familiarity with Model /Software /Hardware in the loop verification methods 

• Experience with real-time software on microprocessor-based systems and developing software in a Linux environment (Ubuntu preferred) 

• Medical product development experience including hands-on experience with medical/surgical devices/instruments; familiarity with medical device regulations including IEC 62304 

• Experience with a big company with matrix structures, experience working in cross functional teams using Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies 

• Experience SDLC process and tools including JIRA, Git, JAMA, Bitbucket(Stash) and Bamboo 

Working Conditions 

Hybrid Work-from-Home and Lab/Standard Office setting in Boston, MA. Some limited travel may be required.
